Not only was our 2021 Summer Camp a fun experience for all, it also provided the opportunity for 2 of our NAU doctoral  PT student volunteers  to do their final academic case study projects. Ellie, Caiti and Pat looked at the benefits of providing PT in an intensive format (4 consecutive days of therapy), in an enriched environment (outdoor summer camp setting), and of course using equine movement as an important PT tool. We saw great results!  And Ellie  presented her case study poster at the recent American Hippotherapy Association International Conference and will be presenting it at the NAU 2022 Graduate Student Government (GSG) Poster Symposium and 3 minute poster presentation on March 31, 2022.
